Green beans with sticky soy cashews

prep time 5 mins/cooking time 5 mins/ serves 6
this was a great little asian inspired side dish!
I will admit the first lot of sticky soy I made, I burnt as I was a little distracted by gossip (gossip in the kitchen can be dangerous!!) so it was lucky this recipe is so easy it took about 1 minute to fix the mistake.
So this picture is the burnt sticky soy - as you can see it is very dark compared to the later one.

In the background you can see a bowl of just blanched beans as one of my girlfriends has food doctor enforced no sugar diet so she got the healthier beans!

This went lovely with the fish. I was thinking you could use the sticky soy with most vegetables and nuts (slithered almonds would be nice)! The trick is blanching the veges first!
